An Outreach Ministry

The MISSION of the Joshua Project is:
To revive and transform the community through the restoration of respect, dignity, and self-esteem to every individual we serve.

To provide training that will assist individuals to become healthy; spiritually, physically, mentally, and emotionally through community outreach, great work ethics, and life skills.

The OBJECTIVES of the Joshua Project are to:
• Develop programs to reduce the apathy in the community
• Develop a climate that prioritizes good character development and citizenship
• Enhance and expand community participants’ spiritual opportunities
• Expand opportunities for economic independence and workforce participation through job readiness skills
• Promote healthy marriages and family formation
• Establish faith-based substance abuse prevention and treatment programs
• Improve the economic and social development of distressed communities

The PHILOSOPHY of the Joshua Project will exhibit significant developmental, physical, psychological, familial, social, and occupational and/or education deficits related to the problems of our community. The training of community participants is aimed at restoring functional behaviors and eliminating, as much as possible, the negative impact of crime in our society.

What gifts do you possess? What are you naturally good at doing? (Such as organizing or planning, working with your hands, art work or public speaking) What do you do well? Have you explored ministry opportunities and discovered your “motivational” (Central) gifts? (Romans 12:6-8)

Come and discover your role in GOD’S MISSION. Join with us as we minister through the JOSHUA PROJECT, an outreach ministry which includes the following:

• Helping Hands
